MCP Servers

MCP Servers are the core execution engines in the MCP Kit. They host your Tools, Prompts, and Resources, making them available for interaction.

Creating a Server

1. Open the Create Modal: Click the “Create” button in the app sidebar or press ‘C.’
2. Select “Server”: In the modal, choose the “Server” option.
3. Name Your Server: Enter a descriptive name for your server and click “Create”.

Your new server will appear in your list of servers.

Managing Server Settings

Once a server is created, you can configure its details and associate components with it.

1. Open Settings: Navigate to your server list and click the three bar menu, then select ‘Edit Server.’
2. Server Configuration Modal: From this modal you can edit the tools, resources, and prompts for your server.
